Your first visit begins with a conversation about your history, your goals, and the patterns your body has settled into. We’ll look at how you stand and move so the session targets the structures actually driving your discomfort.
The work itself is slower and more deliberate than a flowing relaxation massage. You stay comfortably clothed throughout, and your therapist checks in as the work progresses. You may notice a little discomfort in a tight area just before it releases — that’s normal, and your therapist works at a pace your body can respond to. Many clients feel noticeable change within a single session, with the deepest results building over a short series.
Afterward you’ll get simple guidance to help the changes hold: a little movement, hydration, and a sense of what to notice as your body integrates the work over the following days.
Deep tissue massage applies firm pressure to relieve tension in specific muscles.
